Day after shooting on Brdjane


Still no suspects in the murder Mojsić

Regional Kosovo Police spokesman Besim Hoti told Tanjug that after the shooting in Kosovska Mitrovica, where he killed one and wounded two Serb police overnight raided six houses in Brdjani looking for suspects and evidence.

So far, no suspects for the murder of Sava Mojsić and to attack the other Serbs who were injured last night about 20 o'clock in Brdjani in the northern part of Mitrovica.

"The police took statements during the night of the three Albanians who are suspected of murder, but was examined as a witness. We will continue with the investigation," - said a police spokesman.


In Kosovska Mitrovica, a vote of the representatives of the municipality declared a day of mourning for the tragic death Mojsić (28) who died from injuries sustained last night in a shooting that occurred in Brdjani. 


Mojsić will be buried today at 13h at the cemetery in Rudar in Zvecan.



Doctors Medical Center in Kosovska Mitrovica said this morning that because of the nature and severity of injury failed to save the life Mojsić who succumbed to injuries sustained in a shooting in the northern part of Mitrovica.

The other two Serbs who were injured by firearms are stable and are not under environmental threat, as well as another person, as told by doctors, injured in a fight.


Chief of Surgery Dr. Radimir Jankovic said that Mojsić, who died, was admitted with severe, fatal injuries five vital organs, abdomen, including liver, spleen and stomach that are torn to pieces by a missile of great destructive power 


Jankovic added that the doctors tried to surgical treatment but the injuries were serious and were unable to save him.

Head of the hospital in Kosovska Mitrovica Milena Cvetkovic told reporters that the Mojsić died despite surgical intervention and parallel resuscitation.

"In all our efforts and compensation of fluids - blood, plasma, and after four hours of battle in the operating room the patient we lost," concluded the Prime Minister.

Rados Vukicevic was injured, according to Chief of Surgery Dr. Radimir Jankovic suffered a grave breach of the lumbar spine, firing missiles of great destructive power with the tissue damage.

Vukicevic and surgical cared for the patient's condition is stable now, added the head of surgery.

In Veljko Djordjevic, who was also injured by firearms in question is a violation of the right upper arm caused by a bullet, an orthopedic surgeon, told reporters Dusan Petrovic.

Bogdanovic: Eleks to take over the investigation, not the Kosovo police


Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanovic said he had asked the members to take Eulksa investigation into the attack on three Serbs in Brdjani, instead of the Kosovo police, and as soon as possible to shed light on the motive, find and punish the perpetrators of that, he said, the terrorist the act.
